IRISH COMEDY SUPERGROUP TO ROCK CUMBRIA
Fresh from playing packed houses at the Sydney and Melbourne Comedy Festivals, and following a barn-storming opening song at the Channel 4 Comedy Gala, Irish Comedy Rock band 'Dead Cat Bounce' are set to play four secret gigs in Kendal. Millom, Cockermouth and Whitehaven next month (16th - 19th June).
By arrangement with Jakki Moore and The Beggar's Theatre, Millom and Independent, London.
Their award-winning show, Caged Heat (winner People's Choice Award at this year's Sydney Comedy Festival) will be a warm-up for their eagerly-anticipated run at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
A cross between Flight of The Conchords and Spinal Tap, Dead Cat Bounce have become one of comedy's most exciting acts following widespread critical acclaim, sold out runs at the Edinburgh fringe, a smash hit viral video made for BBC Comedy, an appearance as the house band on BBC3's new Comedy 'The Adventures of Daniel' and shows sharing the bill with stand-up sensation Jason Manford at the Hammersmith Apollo last year. The band also won the Jury Prize at the Sydney Comedy Festival and released a popular comedy music video for the popular men's health charity Movember last year.
