The Strands Hotel : Under New OwnershipThe Strands Hotel was built around 1800 as a Hotel and Post House. This Old Traditional Hotel was taken over in June 2006 by Mark and Lesley Corr which they run with their family and chef's who are totally focused on cooking to a high standard, using local produce whenever possible.
There is a main bar with a log fire, a snug bar with log fire, a dining room , a small residents lounge and 11 letting bedrooms ( all of which are different ), ample parking spaces and a great beer garden
With an extensive menu to choose from , using the best of local produce, it is the ideal location for those who want holidays that focus on fine food, fine wine, beautiful scenery, walks to suit all abilities and most importantly a warm and caring environment
