You must be joking, Mezzoni...utter tripe...we need bands that are in the same genre not pretentious puffs who aren’t that good, went to see Schencker, absolutely brilliant blows Quo away, at the Carnegie and Hammerhead the support were fantastic…come the lads!!!

Most Quo cancerts recently have had support acts from their own families - Bernadette and the North were the latest, thats Francis's daughter. The fans expect a good rock sound, loud enough so they can hear it from the bar!!!!!! Then the mighty Quo come on at 8.20 and play for two solid hours!!!

Mazzoni have to play with the Quo. They are our No.1 band in cumbria. They are young, talented and hard working. It would be a shame to let this opportunity pass them by. This could be their big break, lets give them the chance to show people that real talent can comr from our little town. This could be the start of something good for un-signed acts in whitehaven.

personally like to see the mazzoni boys do it...seem them a few times and if they are up for it (as I am sure they would be with 10,000 fellow west cumbrians) they could certainly get crowd going which is what we want!

I have been a fan of the mighty Quo for as long as I can remember. Pictures of matchstick men anyone? Think Mazzoni would be a good local support. Seen them at SolFest last year. Really good band. Can't wait.

i have folowed the local music scene in west Cumbria for more years than i care to mention and i am really pleased that a local act will be given the chance to play along side these Legends, However, having had look at the bands that are active at the moment, probably the Marratimes are the only band suitable to please the aging crowd likely to attend a Status Quo concert, as they are all grandads aswell.
